Enamul Kabir speaks about his series, Coexistence, in Issue 1 of ART MAKER:
Coexistence is a photography project aimed at documenting the harmonious relationship between animals and the urban environment. Through a series of captivating images, this project seeks to highlight the beauty, resilience, and adaptability of wildlife in our cities, while raising awareness about the importance of coexistence and the need for conservation. By focusing on the coexistence between animals and the urban environment, this project aims to challenge the perception that cities are devoid of nature and to emphasize the value of preserving and restoring habitats within our urban spaces. Through this photography project, I aspire to inspire individuals, communities, and policymakers to act towards creating cities that are not only thriving centers of human activity but also vibrant sanctuaries for diverse wildlife species. Together, we can build cities that embrace nature, nurture biodiversity, and exemplify the potential for a harmonious coexistence between animals and the urban environment.
