Van Luijk’s photography wants to celebrate reality and create new realities in the process. Its prevailing mood is nostalgic, capturing that which is inevitably & continuously lost and evoking past worlds that never were. He works exclusively with non-digital techniques, preferably with materials and techniques that have become obsolete.
