Artist Shereen Diab discusses her intuitive process with us:

ART MAKER: What is the central theme or concept that drives your current body of work?

SHEREEN DIAB: At the core of my work is a deep belief in the power of creative energy as a tool for manifestation. My art is how I align with the reality I know already exists- beyond what’s visible. Each piece begins with a sense of inner knowing, held in presence. Through making, I bridge the unseen and the seen, translating consciousness into something tangible. I’m not trying to make something happen—I’m aligning with what already is, and through that alignment, it reveals itself.

ART MAKER: Beyond the visual arts, what sources of inspiration do you turn to?

SHEREEN DIAB: Beyond the visual process, what truly inspires me is presence. Stillness, observation, and simply being with what is—these are the spaces I return to over and over again. They remind me to slow down and listen. I believe that the reality I seek already exists in energetic form, and it’s not about chasing or forcing—it’s about attuning. That quiet space of awareness, whether found in nature, meditation, or silence, brings me back into alignment. It’s where I feel most connected, and it’s in these moments that my work begins to take form.
